Who We Are

Built on Trust, Driven by Purpose

Founded in living rooms, not boardrooms — shaped by decades of
Working alongside people in their most difficult moments.

Our Story

Where Neighborhoods in Bloom Began

Neighborhoods in Bloom was founded by a real estate professional whose career has been shaped by decades of working alongside property owners navigating some of the most difficult moments of their lives. From seniors facing foreclosure to families dealing with properties the system had written off — the experience behind this work was built not in boardrooms but in living rooms, on trust, persistence and a belief that every situation deserves a personalized approach.

Along the way, banking institutions willing to think creatively and property owners who placed their trust in an unconventional process helped shape a vision for what community-centred redevelopment could look like. Neighborhoods in Bloom is the culmination of that vision.

Our Mission

Helping move neglected houses back into safe, livable homes in a way that benefits property owners and breathes life back into the community. It grew out of decades of working with distressed properties and the people behind them.

About the Organization

Collaborative by Design

Neighborhoods in Bloom is a mission-driven organization dedicated to strengthening communities by returning neglected residential properties to productive use. We partner with property owners, municipalities, developers, neighbors and community partners to find viable sustainable solutions — with dignity at the center of every partnership.

Our work is collaborative by design because everyone at the table deserves to feel heard, supported and valued — and the best outcomes happen when everyone contributes and shares in the result.

Founder’s Voice
"This work grew out of living from a place of personal sovereignty and experiencing the beauty of innovation — a belief that every neglected property has a story to tell and holds the possibility of something restored, something renewed, something that gives back to the community it belongs to."
